Ok, "My Account" is your control panel for this site. It is where you can manage your alerts, emails and all other types of communications. You can subscribe or unsubscribe from the newsletter, or view your private messages. You can even keep your personal information up to date for the rest of the members. To access the "My Account" main features, just click the "My Account" button directly and not one of the following options.

Now you have a grip on the basics, lets look at the advanced features!

When you pass your mouse over the "My Account" button, you will see some options appear! This is how you can contribute directly to the site.

"Recommend a Link" - Click this and you are able to enter details of websites you recommend to your colleagues. Any sites you recommend will be automatically submitted to the administrators for review (just to keep the pesky spammers at bay!) and once approved, it will be available for all other users to see!

"Submit an Article" - Here is your opportunity to write your own articles for the site, just as above, you fill in the boxes (you can even copy & paste from word) and your article will be submitted to the administrators for review. Once accepted, it will be available for all users to read. Better still any article that is on this site can be commented upon. All you do is click the comments box at the bottom of any article and type in your thoughts, express your opinion and generally get involved!

"Write a Book Review" - Just like it says on the tin, write a review of your favourite FE book so that your experience can better the community, save someone money by telling it like it is, or recommend that perfect teaching companion for all to buy!

"Write a Testimonial" - Finally, if you like the site, why not say so, drop us a line and let us know that all our hard work is appreciated! We are only human after all!!!!

I hope this post helps you to get more out of PCET, the site is built for you to communicate, so why not start expressing those opinions!
