[quote="Karl"]IHi Karl
If you've completed your CerEd, you should be able to teach any of your subjects within the FE/LLS and you should now work your way towards the QTLS. If you decided to study for a PCET degree it is also a way of linking your PCET degree to PGCE etc...
Although you can do PGCE in LLS if you currently hold a degree (any discipline)

| Can anyone tell me is there a big difference between PCET and PGCE, because I'm told PGCE and PCET are quite similar but PGCE is quite on the higher level. I'm studying my PCET a the moment and it's the end of my first year, phew! thanks. |

Hi
The PG/CE you would have a degree from the onset before starting the course,
PG/CE is Post graduate/certificate in education in pcet
if you have a degree you can study the extra moduals (Diploma)
if you only have NVQ level 3 or higher you can only study CE PCET (cert.)
and study for your diploma in the next 2 years.
