I’ve been a member here for a while and not yet introduced myself – so here it is. I’ve been a lecturer in further and higher ed. for around twenty years – first in business and moving into teacher education. I programme managed Cert Ed/PGCE courses, the then C&G 730, and was also involved with assessor awards. I’ve been away from all that for a few years and am planning a comeback – well, job hunting just now.

I studied with the Open University (BA and MA in Ed) and have a PGCEA from the University of Surrey. Just today I started a new blog at http://www.societyandlearning.blogspot.com and I Tweet as @its_iansharp.

As I get fully up to speed again I’m interested to read about your reactions to Cert Ed/PGCE courses and the LL qualifications.
